COVID-19 Updates At Orthopedic Associates
As we continue to adjust to the new “normal” of life, we want you to know that Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County is monitoring and taking all necessary precautions to ensure your safety. We are open for all of your orthopedic and pain management needs!
Your safety is our number one priority. Below are the steps that we’re taking to help protect all of our patients and staff.
- Requesting all patients and staff wear a mask while in our offices
- Asking patients to not wear gloves to their appointment and instead continue to practice frequent hand washing to help prevent the spread of germs
- Taking temperatures of patients and staff as they enter the building
- Protective barriers in reception area and additional hand sanitizer dispensers placed throughout our offices
- Offices sanitized with multiple rounds of electrostatic cleaning

Having Surgery?
As part of the governor’s executive orders, all unvaccinated patients must be tested for COVID-19 within 5 days of their scheduled surgery and have a negative result. For your convenience, we offer COVID-19 swab testing at either our Poughkeepsie or Kingston location. For fully vaccinated patients, please have a copy of your vaccination card readily available.
Whether your surgery is performed in a hospital or at the Surgery Center at Orthopedic Associates (SCOA), we’ll be here to help you towards recovery! While things in the office may continue to look a little bit different then you are used to, we’ll get through this together!
